What is this campaign about?
These pods provide a dedicated space for students to take short breaks, relax, and recharge amidst their demanding academic schedules.
What is the purpose of the campaign?
The campaign's primary purpose is to address the mental and physical well-being of students. It seeks to reduce stress, prevent burnout, improve focus, and enhance productivity by offering a designated space for power naps and relaxation. By promoting healthy study-rest balance, the campaign supports students in achieving their academic goals while prioritizing their mental and physical health.
What progress has been made so far?
To date, the campaign has gathered significant support from students, faculty, and university administration. We have created a plan of action to conduct surveys to gauge student interest and preferences, secured potential funding sources, and identified suitable locations for nap pod installations. Additionally we have also reached out to other unions and universities which have executed similar campaigns to understand our next steps better. With continued momentum, we aim to turn this vision into a reality, making our City a more student-centric and well-being-focused institution
