- When is training taking place
You can see the timings above. Please do not hesitate to reach out to studentrep@city.ac.uk if you have any questions.
- Is it mandatory to attend?
Yes, it is mandatory to attend regardless if you have attended training in the previous year.
- What will the training cover?
Training will cover: General information about the SU; Mandatory meetings; GetHeard; Reward and Recognition; Scenarios; Signposting and more.
- The training is by school, do I need to attend my specific school or can I come to any?
You need to attend your specific school. This is done in order to build community and meet your reps. All schools have different issues / concerns and the SU officer for your school will also attend.
- Is the training online or in person?
It is in person. We are not holding any online training sessions this year.
- What do I need to bring with me to training?
Pen, paper and enthusiasm to learn 😉
- If I can’t attend any sessions, what do I do?
