City's Italian Society was born with the aim of promoting the excellence of Italian culture, both in City, University of London and outside. City's Italian Society is run by an elected committee that works entirely for the benefit of its members.

Aiming at bridging ideas and cultures, we regularly organise events to suits everyone’s needs, ranging from panel discussions and seminars, to social events such as aperitivi and dinners, film screenings and much more.

The Society is also regularly addressed by distinguished and respected speakers who in the past have included the Italian Ambassador Raffaele Trombetta and the Managing Partner of PFG Pierluigi Parmeggiani and other leading journalists, politicians and business people.

City's Italian Society is open to anyone, whether you are Italian or are just passionate of Italy. So if you just want to enjoy an Aperol Spritz in good company, or if you want to further explore Italian culture, City's Italian Society is the place for you!

There are two types of membership:

  • Standard: for City University students
  • Associate: for all other people
