City Friends of Palestine (FOP) is a student led political campaign group at City, University of London (CUL), bringing together a diverse coalition of students, faculty, staff, and community members united by a shared commitment to justice, human rights, and self-determination for the Palestinian people. Our vision is rooted in the belief that every individual, regardless of background, deserves equal rights and opportunities.
FOP operates on democratic principles, advocating for Palestinians being able to live with dignity and equality. Guided by our principles, we work tirelessly to advance the fundamental rights of Palestinians, including an end to occupation, the right of return for refugees, and an end to apartheid and discrimination.
Central to our mission is the rejection of oppression in all its forms, whether it's racism, discrimination, or institutional violence. We stand in solidarity with oppressed peoples globally, viewing the liberation of the Palestinian people as intertwined with the liberation of all marginalised groups.
Through our aims and objectives, we strive to raise awareness, educate, fundraise and foster a connected community of support for Palestine within CUL. From educational events to nonviolent activism, including boycott, divestment, and sanctions initiatives; FOP is dedicated to promoting justice and solidarity for the Palestinian cause. :)
Core activities of FOP shall be (but not limited to):
Speaker Events and Panel Discussions (political, historical, humanitarian & cultural)

Annual Palestinian History Week (PHW)
