Priorities
Hello, my name is Ruby and I am a current programme rep for Media and Communications. Inspired by connection and expression, I am thrilled to run my campaign to make university life brighter and more social. With fresh ideas and high energy, I am here to bring unforgettable moments and vibrancy back to our University!

Mental Health, Wellbeing and Student Support
University can be overwhelming, and not everyone connects through societies or clubbing, which can lead to loneliness. I propose a weekly wellbeing event where everyone’s welcome! Painting, cooking classes, run clubs, and tourist activities, there will be something for everyone to be included!
Student Communities & Events (Student Societies and Sports)
People come to uni to feel part of a team and proud of where they study. Do I know your name? Feedback shows many feel the same! Let’s host theme nights in the student union bar space—80s nights, sports themes, dress-up parties—a chance to meet peers, have fun, and build our community together.
Cost of Living Crisis
How much do you spend on rent or travel? During a cost of living crisis and expensive lunches people struggle. I’d introduce budget friendly lunch periods 2-3 days a week so less go without. Let’s support all students by easing expenses and creating a comfortable environment to learn and grow in.
