Priorities
Hi, I’m Arman Rahman, a second-year LLB student at The City Law School and a committee member of the City Friends of Palestine Society and City St George’s Bengali Legal Network. City means a lot to me—my sister studied here and It has grown exponentially. I’m committed to continuing that progress, making City a top institution for legal education.
Careers and Employability
Advocating for more Legal Careers Opportunities: I will: 1. Push for formal partnerships with commercial and non-commercial law firms. 2. Work with the careers service to highlight student needs. 3. Support networking events connecting students with legal professionals.
Student Communities & Events (Student Societies and Sports)
Protecting Student Activism: I will: 1. Collaborate with student groups to understand their concerns. 2. Advocate for policies that protect free expression. 3. Engage with administration to promote an inclusive, safe space for activism.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion & Liberation
Advocating for Underrepresented Students in Law: I will: 1. Push for greater support and opportunities for underrepresented students. 2. Work with law societies to amplify underrepresented voices in law. 3. Push for more inclusive career opportunities and scholarships.
