Priorities
Hi! I'm Yacine, and I’m studying politics at the SPGA. You might know me from my time on the Debating Society committee or Assembly Member for Policy and Global Affairs. I hope you'll vote for me and my slate, as we work together for PROGRESS!

Student Communities & Events (Student Societies and Sports)
It is time to see greater engagement from the University. We lack the third spaces for the community to coalesce. I will push for reopening the student bar, greater inter-departmental cooperation and for balls and galas to be regular events.
Education and Academic Priorities
City continues to improve academically and in order to maintain our trajectory I will recommend the adoption of Peer Assisted Study Sessions. I will support the investigation of how the decline in attendance can be reversed. Declining attendance is detrimental to our learning experience.
Careers and Employability
Our degrees are versatile leading to prospective careers in many sectors but our schools are isolated from one another. Opportunities for SPGA students to interact with journalistic opportunities are gatekept and vice versa. Where possible departments should cooperate together vis a vis careers.
