Priorities
I’m Akif, a first-year Law student. For the past five years, I’ve been involved in student politics, fighting to improve student well-being. This passion led me to become a program rep, where I strive to address & resolve the issues facing my peers. I’m also committed to social work, actively contributing to the student union’s charity initiatives

Careers and Employability
I'll advocate for more Pro Bono and legal work experience opportunities, including mini-pupillages and vacation schemes & arrange insight days and mentoring scheme for student exploring career options I'll work to ensure that mor students get access to advocacy training
Education and Academic Priorities
Push for additional revision workshops before exam seasons, with student-led study groups and faculty Q&A sessions. I'll work with faculty to ensure student feedback is acted upon. I'll expand mooting, debating, and advocacy training by securing more internal competitions and coaching support
Mental Health, Wellbeing and Student Support
•I will actively advocate for establishing a campus clinic to provide essential medical services for students facing emergencies and health concerns. • I will prioritize student safety by enhancing campus security and ensuring that all entry points have sufficient security measures.
