Could you help improve Race Equality at City?

Get involved in City’s Race Equality Charter process!

As part of a wider inclusivity agenda, City pledges commitment to the Race Equality Charter’s (REC) aim to improve the representation, progression and success of minority ethnic staff and students within higher education.

A number of subgroups are being formed to ensure the work of the REC is evenly distributed across City and to provide opportunities for all staff and students to get involved. The following subgroups have been identified:

SG1. Academic Staff subgroup

SG2. Professional and Support Staff subgroup

SG3. Student Pipeline subgroup

SG4. Teaching and Learning subgroup

SG5. Marketing subgroup

We are looking for students to apply to be on one of the subgroups.  This provides opportunities for involvement from students in the REC process and we want all of City to be involved; improving race equality is everyone’s responsibility.

To apply to be part of a subgroup please complete this FORM by 9am Monday 28 October 2019.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to receiving your application.
